Membership Opportunities

To become a voting member of the LEPC it is required that you attend the monthly meetings. Applicants must submit an application to the City of Chesapeake. If approved your application and recommendation for membership will be submitted to the Chesapeake City Council for appointment.

Once approved attendance is encouraged. A quorum is required to transact business at any meeting of the LEPC. A quorum shall consist of a simple majority of the total number of LEPC members existing on the roster of primary membership at the time that any regular or special meeting is held. As a voting member of the LEPC you are entitled to one vote. All members of the LEPC shall serve at the pleasure of the Chesapeake City Council.
