All Chesapeake Polling locations open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Those in line to vote at 7 p.m. will be allowed to vote.
There are five precincts that have been relocated to different buildings: Churchland, Oaklette, Tanglewood, Pleasant Crossing, and Cypress.
On Election Day, there are two options for voting.
Curbside: drive up to your assigned precinct, receive a ballot, fill it out in the privacy and safety of your own car, seal it in an envelope and then hand it to the election official. All curbside ballots will be put into the voting machine to be counted at the end of the day.
In-person: We ask that you wear a mask and practice social distancing while in the polling location, for the safety of other voters and election officials.
