THEME: “Afro – Union Veterans Day Salute to Norfolk County Area Soldier and Sailor Patriot Heroes.”
[This Memorial is the only one of its kind in the Commonwealth of Virginia dedicated to saluting Afro-Union Soldier and Sailor Patriot Heroes.]
ADMISSION: Free to the General Public.
[Seating is limited to 50 attendees. Bringing a folding chair is suggested.]

• Unfurling of Seven Afro-Union National Standard Colors
• Placement of National Standard Colors on the gravesite of Sgt. March Corprew, Co. I., 2nd U.S.C.T. Cavalry regiment and at the Memorial of the Patriot Heroes markers.
• A Roll Call of Afro-Union Patriot Heroes from Chesapeake, Hampton, Portsmouth, Newport News, Norfolk, Suffolk, Virginia Beach and Bertie County, N.C.
