Hurricane Sandy recovery funds are helping the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service lead a water management project in the Great Dismal Swamp. Max 50 guests accepted with ID · Dinner & breakfast served to overnight guests
Homeless with cars welcomed (must meet nightly at an intake location)
No alcohol, no drugs, no weapons · Breathalyzer screening · No sex offenders, database checked
Smoking is at the discretion of the host church
Chesapeake Area Shelter Team (CAST) reserves the right to accept or reject a homeless guest from loading the bus or entering a host church location. Call 757-439-6198 with any questions.
